The Karoo Donkey Sanctuary recently moved to the Crags, just outside of Plettenberg Bay with their whole herd – donkeys, horses, pigs, geese, ducks, sheep, goats and cows!
THE WHOLE FARMYARD!
A few days after their arrival. Jono and the team welcomed me into the ‘herd’ for a few hours.
I don’t think I have ever sat in the middle of a field, surrounded by so many donkeys, so many gentle souls.
The world can be so cruel, each of these gentle souls having been rescued from a terrible situation.
I wish them all the best for their future here in the gorgeous Garden Route!
